By pursuing our hobbies and interests we are using many different materials. Some of these materials will be presented here and some of their characteristics will be further explained.
Most of this site is intended as a reference source for tools, techniques, and engineering data. I will start by adding a table of aluminum alloy designations used in various countries because I had great trouble finding a DIN1700 designation for some popular alloys for which I had only the US AA four-digit designation.
